Personal Plan for abiding

Following Jesus can be challenging and the culture that we live in can subtly pull us in many directions without us realizing it. If we are not intentional in our discipleship and apprenticeship to Jesus, our lives can unintentionally float along with wherever the stream of our culture pulls us. This is why we need a plan. Some call this a ‘Rule of Life’, we are simply calling it a personal plan for abiding. Our #1 responsibility as group leaders is to stay connected to God, so that we are able to receive and give the love of God consistently. This document is a short exercise where you can pray through how God might be speaking to you in four key areas of life, (work, relationships, rest, and prayer) and how you can organize these areas of life for the season ahead so that you can stay connected to him. It’s a great idea to review this document a few times a year, just to see what God may want to adjust in these areas for the season ahead.

Planning center Online Groups Tutorials

We organize all of our groups at the church using Planning Center Online. This is an awesome way to add new members to your group, communicate with your group, send resources or files, and plan events. It is also very helpful for helping us analyze how our groups are doing, as you can track attendance of who comes to each time you gather. If you have never used Planning Center Groups, it can feel a bit daunting. There are many helpful tutorials, and pages to help get you started though, all of which you can access by clicking the link.
