At Colwood Church, we believe that faith is a journey. Every journey starts with a first step. Whether you are brand new to faith, new to Colwood Church, or want to take the first step towards serving with our church family, First Steps is for you.
We have designed this course to help you:
Get to know the heart and mission of our church.
Meet and start to connect with others in our church family.
Understand your gifts and how you can use them to serve alongside the team at our church.
The way this 4 week course works is you will meet together after church on Sunday to watch the first session together. Then in subsequent weeks you will be sent a new video each week with a different core value of our church. Each video is about 10-15 minutes and you can watch the video at a time that works for you.
Along with receiving weekly teaching, each week for the duration of the course you will gather together in a group with some others who are taking the course. In this group you will sit with one of our pastors and have a chance to get to know others and discuss the teaching you watched that week.
